Description
Volnovakha Super Fuzz takes the legendary Univox Super Fuzz and injects it with a dose of modern aggression. While including the iconic octave-fuzz core, we've replaced the transistor gain stage with a Rat/Boss FZ-2 style op-amp for increased clarity and sustain. The Tone control now blends filtered and unfiltered modes, offering a wider range of sonic textures. Finally, we've boosted the output stage with increased impedance and doubled the voltage gain for a genuinely thunderous sound.
Controls
- Expander - the amount of gain.
- Tone - controls the balance between raw/unfiltered and mid-scooped modes.
- Scoop - controls mid frequency scoop depth.
- Balance - effect output volume.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
Power supply
9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
