Trainer TS-100
Capture the essence of the famous solid-state amp in a pedal
Description
Drunk Beaver Trainer is Traynor™️ TS-100 (solid-state amp) preamp section in a pedal format. I've used an exact schematic of the original amp with a very cool distortion texture. The preamp runs at +-15V using a standard 9V power supply (don't try to feed the pedal with a power supply higher than 9V; this will damage the electronics). The higher voltage gives you more dynamics and headroom (~30V amplitude, for example, Klon has ~27V). Preamp could be used in front of another amp or directly into the power amp section (for example, FX loop return input).
Controls
- Gain - the level of drive.
- Bass - controls the bass frequency response.
- Mid - active mid frequencies filter.
- Treble - controls the treble frequency response.
- Master - effect output level.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
Power supply
Power Supply: 9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
Don't try to power the pedal with voltages higher than 9V - this will damage the electronics. The pedal uses a chip to run the circuit on +-15V.
Voltage: 9V
Current draw: 50.0 mA
