Description
Sumy Treble Booster is our take on Rangemaster Treble Booster circuit. However, it's not just a clone but an improved version using NOS (new old stock) Germanium transistors and high-quality components with PU sim and adjustable frequency range.
Controls
- Boost - boost level, about 24dB max.
- Range - boosted frequency range, from fat boost to classic treble booster.
- Impedance - controls the signal impedance when the pickup simulator is enabled, allowing you to adjust the interaction between your guitar and the pedal and fine-tune your tone.
- PU Sim toggle - switches pickup simulator. When the PU Sim toggle is off, the buffer and impedance pot are also bypassed, giving you a classic effect that is sensitive to the input signal and any other pedals in your chain.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
Power supply
9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
