Hostomel Tube Driver captures the spirit of the coveted TubeWorks Real Tube RT-901 in a compact and versatile pedal. We've replaced the original tube with a NOS Soviet subminiature dual triode - the 6Н16Б-В (6N16B-V) - carefully biased to deliver a rich range of tones, from subtle tube warmth and light breakup to wide, sustaining fuzz. The pedal features a modified EQ section, offering a smoother and less harsh treble response than the original, alongside an output FET buffer for optimal signal integrity. Controls

Drive - the amount of gain.
3-band EQ - amp-style EQ.
Master - effect output volume.
LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB, allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.

Power supply

Power Supply: 9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. 350mA minimum. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲 and won't last long in this circuit.

Don't try to power the pedal with voltages higher than 9V - this will damage the electronics. The pedal uses a voltage boost circuit to provide high-voltage power for the tube. Don't open the pedal when powered; there are 200+ voltages running inside ⚡️⚡️.
