Chernihiv Sonic Distortion is our love letter to the cult classic Ibanez/Maxon SD9, preserving its legendary growl while addressing the fixed mid-scoop that limited the original's versatility. We’ve supercharged the circuit with a 3-way Clipping Switch: select "Stock" for the compressed, singing sustain of 2x Silicon KD522 diodes, "Modern" for a complex asymmetrical texture using a mix of ITT Si and BAYP-95 Si diodes, or "LED" for an open, high-headroom crunch. To ensure you cut through any mix, the new EQ Toggle offers three distinct voicings: the "Stock" heavy scoop, a "Modern" setting with a tighter, less drastic cut, and a "Flat" mode that restores the mids entirely for full-bodied lead tones.

• Tone - tilt type tone stack to control balance between trrable and bass.
• Volume - the output level.
• EQ toggle - Modern (tight, not deep mid cut), Stock (deep mid scoop), and Flat.
• Clipping toggle - Modern (assymetrical NOS 2x ITT nd BAYP-95 Si diodes), Stock (2x Si KD522 diodes), and LED.
• LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
