Description
Khelnytskyi OD is our experimental mix of Boss OD-1 and Boss OD-3 circuits. It combines raw OD-1 gain stage with OD-3 equalization and tone stack. It is an improved version of classics using NOS (new old stock) Motorola MC3403 op-amp and high-quality components with two additional clipping options.
Controls
- Drive - the amount of gain.
- Tone - controls treble frequency response.
- Level - effect output volume.
- Clipping switch - clipping diodes modes: Stock (3 x Si diodes), LED (2 x red LEDs), and "-" (no diodes, raw discrete op-amp clipping).
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
Power supply
9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
