About the name
The "Fat Bat" expands our Bat series of pedals, which are inspired by the legendary RAT distortion and its many variations. This pedal's name is a direct nod to its core circuit, which is based on the Ibanez FC10 Fat Cat, a classic and robust distortion pedal. Staying true to its name, the "Fat Bat" also features a special mode that sonically mirrors the sought-after ProCo Fat Rat, offering a fuller, warmer, and more powerful take on the aggressive character that defines the Bat-family.
